Facility Rental Agreement

1. Parties & premises

This Facility Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is made between Cedar County Fairgrounds ("Facility") and Tri-County Home & Garden Show, LLC ("Renter") for use of the Expo Hall and Grand Pavilion at 412 Fairground Rd, Cedar Falls, IA.

2. Rental period

The rental period begins with setup access on July 31, 2026 at 8:00 AM and concludes at the end of teardown on August 4, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Occupancy outside this window requires written approval and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment terms

A booking deposit of $1,255 (25%) is due upon signing. The remaining balance of $3,765 is due by July 25, 2026. A refundable security deposit of $1,500 will be authorized on a card on file prior to the event and released within 14 days after teardown, less any deductions for damage or excess cleaning.

4. Insurance

Renter shall furnish a Certificate of Insurance naming Cedar County Fairgrounds as additional insured, with general liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence, no later than 30 days before the event.

5. Cancellation

Cancellations more than 90 days before the event forfeit the booking deposit. Cancellations within 90 days are responsible for 50% of the total contract value; within 30 days, the full contract value.

6. Facility rules

Renter agrees to comply with all posted facility rules, fire code occupancy limits, and applicable county ordinances, including alcohol service regulations where applicable.
